John Lamb (American football)
John Henderson Lamb (February 16, 1873 – March 3, 1955) was the first head football coach the Kansas State Normal School—now Emporia State University—in Emporia, Kansas and he held that position for the 1900 season. His overall coaching record at ESU was 5 wins, 3 losses, and 1 ties. Emporia State's football team began in 1893 but played without an official head coach for the first seven seasons until 1899.
